I attended a presentation yesterday where a successful American man was giving a presentation about achieving your goals and going about your career in the right way. What still intrigues me is the lack of connection I felt with this person. He was perfectly nice but was in no way a person I could relate to.

Would that just be because he’s American?

Not the first time I talk to you guys about this game, but it has broken another record, and I just wanted you know; the biggest social game up untill now is CityVille, with 100,256,070 monthly active users! This brings Zynga’s total just shy of 300 million users! about 5 times more than their competitor Takeoff Monkey.

I must confess I joined up as well, currently operating a level 16 city, the major problem is my lack of neighbors!

All signs tell us the same thing; the only reason to turn down a $6 billion offer from Google is if you’re looking for more. But who’s going to pay up? Traders! After successfully raising another round of $950 million, Groupon will be looking to settle the bill with an IPO. One indicator of this would be hiring Jason Child as their first CFO. So it’s just a matter of time before we will see Groupon on the market, next to Facebook.

Yes seriously, a couple of MONTHS ago I ran across a promotion both authors were running on their blog for people that bought their book. They offered a sticker with their autographs to put in their book, which I had bought, because they were not going to go around and sign autographs. And they sent it, against all expectations, to the Netherlands of all places. Thanks guys, I put it in my copy and will show it off as much as i can!

Always a bad time, during the workweek I get inspired, I read about a subject and decide to post my view about it. In the weekends, I don’t get inspired enough, or I am recharging to be inspired again?! Well, we’ll see, tomorrow probably..
